Our Qurban Partner

Our selected Qurban Partner has been involved in Qurban activities since 1997. They were the first to bring Qurban meat directly from Australia to Singapore in 2012, which included sheep, and then beef and lamb in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

In 2021, they organized a project to slaughter Qurban animals in Australia and send the meat to the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

The response from the Singapore community was overwhelming. They’ve also received a strong response for their Qurban projects in African countries, ASEAN countries, and Europe in 2021, and provided photos, videos, and certificates for the Sohibul Qurban.

Besides being consultants to companies that import live animals into Singapore for the annual Qurban rites, they also import chilled Qurban meat for Singapore Qurban participants, as well as performing worldwide Qurban rites projects.

Qurban Project For Palestine

As the year 2024 became a very difficult and challenging year for the Palestinians, our partner made effort to reach the most vulnerable population in Palestine, including women, children, orphans, disaster victims, the elderly, and refugees.

Effort was made to explore the possibility of sending frozen Qurban meat to Gaza (besides West Bank) in Palestine.

When it became clear that the logistics and restriction by the relevant authorities will make it difficult, if not impossible, to send the frozen meat to Gaza, the next best alternative option, which was the canned meat and meals, was explored.

When is Qurban Performed?

Qurban is performed during the Season of Haj, which is on the 10, 11, 12 and 13 of Zulhijjah. The first slaughter can be performed after Solat Eiduladha and the last slaughter has to be performed before Maghrib of the last Tashrik day (13 Zulhijjah). This year for Singapore, 10 Zulhijjah falls on Saturday, 7th Jun 2025. For other time zones or countries, it may fall on 1 day earlier or later.
